We’re a 4-day Work Week Company
Our team has decided to move to a four-day work week. We’re happy to be walking the walk and not just talking the talk.
There has been a lot of talk in the events industry, through Covid, about this being the opportunity for the industry to change the way we work. Stop working 15-20 hour days, producing events back to back and ultimately exhausting all of our resources.
We have made a team decision to not make the same mistakes again. We have the power to start change in the industry and we’re going to use it. If we can do this and be successful then there is no excuse as to why you can’t too.
Initially, some of our team members thought that it wouldn’t be necessary to implement, as we already promote a flexible work environment. However, after some thought and discussion, we realized the importance of the four-day workweek; putting a boundary in place between work time and free time.
We preach FIND BALANCE as one of our company values. The four-day workweek deeply reflects that. Shortening the number of days, we all work will improve productivity and ensure that we are refreshed and energized to put our best efforts into creating your events. The Fridays spent not working will be spent on whatever our team needs at that moment; whether that be getting outside for a hike, launching their side hustle or schoolwork.
Removing Fridays from our work schedule allows our team members to ensure they are living up to our company values; not only finding balance, but putting emphasis on BEING BETTER, DOING IT RIGHT, pushing harder when GOOD ENOUGH IS NOT ENOUGH, and nurturing our TRUE PARTNERSHIP commitment to our clients.
This change is about working smarter, not harder.
